As summer settles on us all a huge amount of people will be looking forward to their pre booked holidays. Even more folk this year will be trying to get last minute cheap deals in an attempt to save cash during the financial crisis.

But after a survey by Legal and General it has come to light that more folk would rather miss out on a trip this year in favour of keeping their satellite TV subscription upto date. More and more people are deciding to stay at home for the summer and even more people are staying at home during the evening.

British folk have also said that they would be cutting down on eating out and visiting the high street just so that they can keep up with the invoice payments on their television services.

I personally think and believe that this is the wrong way to go, ok you can try to cut back on a few stuff, but I am one of these people that think holidays are an absolute must. Even if it’s a week or so break to beach resorts or another sunny destination, the reason for saying this is simply because we know how stressful like can be. We all get stressed throughout the year and your brain literally needs time to relax and unwind.

If people do not start taking holidays then the brain is going to overload which in turn is going to end up making you sick. All of this will cause you to take time off work and lose income, which will not help with paying your bills. So remember to take regular holidays and budget your money more.
