Dover has long been one of England’s busiest ferry ports. Most of the ferries make their way across to France, although other destinations are served as well. Plus over the centuries it has been a very strategic position and helped to protect England from invading hordes.

It is a traditional Kentish weather boarded inn that has been lovely restored by the owners and it even boasts a micro spa. Which makes it the perfect place to stay to get away from it all in Kent.
