The quality of facilities are good if you are willing to pay for it. .The most important city is Montevideo.

taxi, car service (remise), car and motorcycle are common way of inter-city travel .Speed limits are low and are posted on highways .

The Carrasco International Airport is about 15km east of Montevideo.You can travel using a remises (is a rented car with driver).This way, going to city centre can’t be more fastest and safest.

“Plaza Independencia” is the square at the end of 18 de Julio Avenue. The latter is the main avenue of the city centre.

Plaza Independencia is next to Palacio Salvo .This building is famous because once was the highest building in South America.

Piriápolis and Punta del Este are the most popular cities in the east of Uruguay.

these cities are full between december and march, so If you want to go to theses cities you should book a room in a hotel.

In piriapolis you can visit the  small port of Piriapolis, next to Cerro San Antonio.You can find sea lions in the port, usually people give them food.It’s a good show.
