Ballroom dance shoes can be store bought or custom made, depending on the preference of the individual and also the price range that you are looking for. Whether you buy your ballroom dance shoes at a store, or get them made especially for you depends on your budget and preferences. While store bought shoes do have variety, buying them makes it more likely that you’ll purchase a common design. On the other hand, choosing to get your shoes made will give you the option of designing them to suit your fancy, and they have the added advantage of being made for your feet, literally; although this does raise their price.

When learning ballroom dancing, the dancing instructor always should make it a point to advice students on the proper kind of ballroom dance shoes they need to invest in, as after all ballroom dance shoes are an investment you make.
