People across my county found this question quite hard to answer. Some people don’t even think about the answer, and it even takes them a while to say something. The other answer, that is somewhat annoying is the one that goes something like “Because we wanted to”! So there is in short, no real actual reason for anybody going on holiday if this is the case. Now everyone has a reason, they just don’t really want to tell us?

I came across some people who just wanted the time off work, and mumbled incessantly. Now I can actually understand this answer, although I am not sure why people feel like this. I think that if you feel this way, that your job is that bad you really desperately need the time off, then this job isn’t for you!

Now getting some time off work isn’t what i would say is hard for the majority of people, what are the weekend’s for? Meeting new people and living with a completely different culture, this is a holiday that actually has meaning, although not many people gave this answer. This is really a planned holiday, and something that is good for body and mind, not to mention the chance to do something really different. This makes sense, of course you would like to visit a new country, to see how things work.

What really riled me was the answer that some people gave that read like this; “There isn’t much else around for us to do”! To these people I had to hold back some lecturing and general anger. What do you mean there is nothing else to do, that makes no sense, of course there is! Great another one of those annoying answers, you know the one that means nothing to anyone.

But really, do we NEED a reason to go on holiday? Of course you need no good reason to go on holiday, if you want to go, just do it. Make sure that you don’t get told something different.

For Caribbean holidays, Maldives holidays, Sri Lanka holidays, maybe you should visit a tour operator!
