Gay travel to Mexico is very accessible as there are many anti-discrimatory laws in place and homosexuality is legal. Gay travel is welcomed in many places and Puerto Vallarta, Tijuana, Mexico City, Guadalajara, Cancun and Acapulco all have gay communities, and all have plenty of gay tourists especially Cancun.

Puerto Vallarta is a particularly good spot for gay travel as the gay nightlife scene is thriving. All the bars in the city are gay friendly and the nightlife can be quite wild and exotic. Some bar and clubs that are particularly designated gay include El Morbo, Paco Paco, Los Balcones, the Ranch, Apaches, Los Amigos and The Palm.

The gay beach in Puerto Vallarta has the nickname of Blue chairs because the beach is lined with blue lounging chairs. There are many other activities in Puerto Vallarta besides clubbing and the beach as you can visit the many waterfalls and lagoons, go sailing and take advantage of the hiking in the area.

Taking a gay vacation in Mexico City is also a good choice for gay travel as there is so much to do in Mexico City. There is wealth of Mexican culture to be seen as the Aztec ruins are just outside the city. There are also many art galleries, restaurants, and other historical landmarks to be scene. The main gay area is Zona Rosa.

For those looking for the ultimate beach vacation then Cancun is your spot. This is the largest vacation destination in Mexico and even during the off season there is a lot going on. Cancun is on the Yucatan peninsula and has discos, clubs, bars, and more. There are plenty of water sports to enjoy at the beach. If you need a break from the sun and clubs then visit the nearby villages for some traditional Mexican culture. The famous Talum and Chichen Itza are also close by and worth a visit.

Guadalajara is an excellent city in Mexico to visit as it contains much of Mexico’s traditional culture, and contains plenty of restaurants, nightlife, galleries, museums and Mexican architecture. Unlike Mexico City Guadalajara is not polluted, has less crime and is more modern. If you like tequila then you need to make a stop in Guadalajara as this is the drink of choice.

Mexico is geographical diverse and you can enjoy the beach, rainforests, volcanoes and desert just by visiting. There is a diverse and extensive history to investigate and many fantastic ruins. It is an excellent destination for gay travel as each city has gay friendly areas and some of the gay scenes are quite dominant in the towns.
