Right now we all know that the holiday season is bearing down on us, and we all want to get ready to book our holidays. We all have a favourite place to go on holiday, but whereabouts in the Caribbean is best for you to head on vacation. So you have your holiday heading in the right direction, but there are a whole bunch of islands to choose from, which should you stick to, and which should you leave alone.

So what is the number one island in the Caribbean for people to visit, and has received some of the best reviews in the world. St Lucia provides a lot for people to try, ranging from beach holidays to safari holidays. What an island, filled with spa resorts and relaxing places for you to chill out at. If you want to sun bathe and get your self a massage everyday, along with a swim in the clearest blue seas around, then St Lucia is for you. This is also recorded as one of the safest islands in the Caribbean, for families or couples. The staff and the living quarters are amazing, you will be hard pressed to find a single bad review about them anywhere. There are some luxurious hotels that want to give you a unique experience on St Lucia, and some provide a Safari tour in the Jungle.

Now that we know where we should go on holiday, and which is the best location, this next place you might like to consider avoiding. There is definitely one island that stands out among the rest. When you head to the most southerly of the Caribbean islands, you reach the smaller island of Trinidad. If you need a reason not to come to this island then there is a very good one. There is an unusually high burglary and murder rate in Trinidad. Do you really need another reason to go on holiday to a different holiday. If I were you I head to St Lucia!

So the Caribbean holidays are just around the corner, where are you going to go, how do St Lucia holidays sound, maybe you like the clubbing lifestyle, in which case Barbados holidays are the best option!
